Hi, my husband just lost his dad 2-3 months ago and our marriage has suffered more everyday. All of a sudden he wants a divorce! I have tried to be the best wife I can be (with God's help) and I have come to the end, I can not do anything more and I need a lot of prayers for my husband. I don't want to lose him for good and we also have a 17 month old son that will suffer. I have put it in God's hands because he just doesn't want any help!

Left Out - you are doing the right thing by placing it all in God's hands. He is the great Healer of marriages. I will be praying for your husband and you.
Dear Heavenly Father, our dear sister Left Out is hurting so, please send the Holy Spirit to her, giving her comfort and Your peace. I pray that You will intervene in this situation, causing what the enemy had earmarked for evil to be turned to good and for the glorification of You Lord. Thank You Father for softening Left Out's husband's heart. Lord, I lift him up to You, asking that the Holy Spirit overwhelm him with Your love and mercy. Father, please speak to this man's heart, causing him to think continually about the love of his wife. Let him think of her with a deep love and desire, as she is the wife of his youth. Protect this dear sister and her child Lord from any and all attacks of the enemy. I plead the blood of Jesus over this family and Left Out's husband. Show Left Out what You need her to do in this situation. Holy Spirit, please intercede on Left Out's behalf, pleading her case before Our God. Thank You Lord for all that you do for us, for loving us so very much. Thank You for always hearing our cries when we are troubled. Thank You Lord for being our friend always. IJN AMEN
A book that might really help you is "The Power of a Praying Wife" by Stormie O'Martian. It has made a dramatic difference in my life, and my marriage. There is so much power in prayer Left Out.
[This message has been edited by Alcoholic's Wife (edited August 08, 2000).]
