Subject deliberately sensationalized in order to grad your attention ---<P>Yesterday we visited friends, celebrated Labor day. One couple attending is very involved in the Catholic Church. The wife works on many things involving kids, spends a lot of time in these things. I mentioned the St. Jude Novena that I had just completed (did not mention my special cause; these are good people but we are not close). She said she spends a lot of time cleaning up these multiple St. Jude prayers and throwing them in the trash. Compared them to chain letters. I said, Then what is a good and true novena to St. Jude?<P>She said You need to ask your parish priest.<P>Today is Monday, Labor day. Rectories are closed. <P>Felt the need to alert those whom I'd mistakenly encouraged to do the novena.<P>BTW, it didn't work, but not for lack of trying.<P>Gotta see our priest tomorrow.<P>Sorry guys.<P>------------------<BR>Belle, Domestic Goddess
