I have been divorced for almost a year now. My husband tried his hardest to fight for us but my ears were closed. By the time I realized what was most important and what I was losing it was too late and he wanted nothing of it. I have realized I have strayed from God and his wishes and ask his forgiveness everyday as I try to do whats right. My ex-husband and I have been talking almost daily and even seeing each other at least once a week. I have found that my ex-husband is more receptive but still gives very mixed signals.
I pray if it is God's will that he be given the wisdom, courage, and strenght tom communicate to me his desire or lack of desire to rebuild our broken marriage. I ask for prayers to help me have patience with him and God's plan for us. I also would like to pray for his forgiveness for my stubborness and lack of forsight in the past and pray for the strength and wisdom to not be led down that road again. Finally if it is possible to rebuild this marriage I pray we are rebuilt with God's help stronger and better than before.
Thanks for all of you here at MB. I would like to say now that I have found you I have been able to continue trying despite the set backs incurred and the refusals I have received. You have helped give me hope and you have showed me I am not alone.

Father, I pray in agreement with twurtle for the restoration of her marriage, and stand on Your word that marriage is a lifelong covenant, that what God has joined together let no man separate. Lord, we know You hate divorce and it is always Your will that a marriage be reconciled. Lord, we come before You, the creator of marriage, and ask for Your divine intervention in twurtle's marriage. Please, Lord, speak to her husband's heart, softening his heart towards her. Lord give him wisdom, courage, and strength to follow Your direction on the path of righteousness. Lord, please help her have patience with her husband, and ability to wait upon You and Your timing. Father, please instill a forgiving heart in twurtle's husband, drawing him ever closer to You. Lord, I pray that You will restore this marriage to one far better than before, with You at the center of the marriage. Thank You Lord for Your unending love. You are our almighty God, the name above all names. Lord, I firmly believe that with You nothing is impossible, and that You will restore this marriage. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

twurtle,
You & your marriage are in my thoughts and prayers..Just keep a strong belief in God and that his divine intervention will work and that his will be done. I believe in my heart of hearts that God will work with you to preserve your marriage, and rebuild a new...This is a test, just ride out the storm and know that God is with you and your H every step of the way..Even when we stray from God, he is "standing in the corner" waiting for us to let him come back into our hearts and help us brave the stormy weather. Good Luck! With God on your side, who can faulter? If it is not in God's will for your marriage to be saved, then I am praying for acceptance and healing. My prayers are with you! Just keep the faith and take care!
aloneandsad
