As was said to me by my dear pal, airheart:
quote:
How many times have you quit?? Didn't that make the third time???

Only goes to prove that the littlest thing can change everything... maybe next time I "quit" I just will stop all together, without the flowery words...
I've quit because we were a success, and because we were over. Neither, evidently, was the actual truth... that much is true.
I want to say that everything I wrote in my departing post is truly how I feel. I will never again completely trust anyone with my innermost feelings, nor will I feel compelled to answer every question presented to me just because I'm an honest person. Saying that I refuse to discuss that, or that I don't feel comfortable is just as honest, and I will think carefully before I answer anyone again, and that includes my H.
I notice the big orange full moon today. Who knows, maybe the tides are flying in at record speeds, spinning the world out of control. If this board is any indicator, I'm not far off.
I just wanted to say thank you again for sticking with me, and I'm obviously not ready to go just yet... yeah, I feel like a hypocrite and a bit of an idiot, but what the hell. This is one place we can be ourselves, foibles and all... right??
~Sheryl
------------------
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you are among the stars!!

new_beginning -- hypocrite??? I am willing to bet that most, if not all of us have said that if my spouse ever . . .
Yet here we all are, working toward salvage our shattered marriages and lives.
idiot??? If loving my W, inspite of all that has happened makes me an idiot . . . then so be it.
Your right though. New_Be
You are not a hypocrit. THis is just very hard and confusing stuff. Relax, have some patience, and plenty of hope. You just never know what the "BIG G" has in store for you.
Beside I enjoy your comments and your observations. Greed is a terrible thing [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com].
Good Night
JL

NB -- Let me add my voice to the chorus who are glad you're still here. W and I have been thru what you have several times just like you H and you. It just seems that this time it is the last.
I know first hand how you feel and my heart goes out to you. Your situation is a little bit different than mine and I do see hope for you guys.
What you are going thru could very well be the dark before the dawn. You are both waffling and this is a sign that neither one of you has really given up.
BTW, I had my therapist give me some referrals for some psychiatrist friends of hers to get me on some meds for the holidays. I'm going to try to make an appointment for today...
Hang in there....hugs and supportive thoughts are headed your way...

<LOL>
Sheryl, you're not supposed to show everyone how mean I am in private email!! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Glad you decided to stick around. I think even if things are "fixed for good" or "broken for good", it's still nice to hang around and share/commiserate/whatever.
--andy
[This message has been edited by airheart (edited November 24, 1999).]

N-B ,
I'm glad you are here too. It feels like I'm an old man tonite. i've only been here since July nad now it sems like there's a whole new bunch of posters, which I am sad to see.
I guess I shouldn't have gone out tonite because now I am depressed. Met a bunch of people tonite except I seemed to be the only single one (I guess I'm single! I sure fell like it now!) out there. everybody I met was married and about 10 yrs younger than I.
And since I'm a ball of fire right now I bet I surely attracted the ladies.
I guess its not a good idea to post when you are 2 beers over your limit( I had 4).
