The stress points are piling on:
1) Last Sunday we had to have our much-beloved 14-1/2 year old cat put down after a year-long struggle with cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure. He was like our baby, and we are in great pain.
2) I am off to my folks' tomorrow in an ice storm for a weekend of utter hell. Stepdad is dying and mom is nuts.
3) On Monday I have to go to a breast surgeon and possibly have a biopsy.
4) Wednesday I start a new job. They don't know about my health concerns, which I found out about after I accepted the job.
I fear that my entire world is about to blow apart. Any power your prayers have is most welcome, and appreciated.

Hey,, sorry. Everything is happening at once, isn't it? Okay, Dazed, I'll put you on my rosary. Sorry about the cat. I cry every time one of our pets gets old and dies.
Aging and dying parents - Been there. Awful hard. New job - you're really getting hit with the whammy stick, arent' you?
Sorry, and if it helps, here's a cyber-hug:
{{{{{{{Dazed and Confused}}}}}}}

------------------
Belle, Domestic Goddess

I am so sorry for all that you are going through, Dazed. Prayed and will continue to pray for you and your family.
I cannot believe how much has hit you, all at once. Anyone of those items would be stressful, in itself. Ugh!
Try to take care of yourself. Please let us know how you are doing.

[This message has been edited by Raskal (edited December 17, 2000).]

{{{{{{{Dazed and Confused}}}}}}}
I'm not very skilled with words (English is not my mother tongue), but I want you to know you're in my prayers.
May Lord give you strenght and patience to endure this tough period.
I wish you all the best and hope for good outcome of your health concern.
God bless,
Adrian
[This message has been edited by Adrian (edited December 17, 2000).]

Thank you for your prayers. Things are starting to look up a bit.
I survived my trip somehow, with only one "I hate her!" [Mom] screaming fit -- in the middle of a parking lot. Was scheduled to fly home in the middle of a windstorm, flights were cancelled, so took the train. One bad feeling I had about the trip was about the flights, so there we are.
No need for biopsy. Dr. thinks that lymph node found on mammogram was due to the viral cold I had at the time it was done. I have to go back in six months for another mammo.
Saturday we are going to adopt another kitty. I sense strongly that she is grey and her name is Daphne. We'll see if I'm right.
Today I have to buy a car. More debt. But the important thing is that we are all in one piece.
Thank you all.
