My six year old son has diabetes - he was diagnosed 2 1/2 yrs ago. Tomorrow he goes in the hospital to be put on an insulin pump. He should only be in the hospital for 24-48 hours. H and I have had training but it is still overwhelming to learn how to insert and operate the pump. Also, H and I are separated - I am trying to Plan A but it is hard. He is with OW this weekend and is flying into the city where we will be tonight. Three other children at home who are confused and angry. <BR>I just ask for prayers for my whole family and especially for my son, that he will be comfortable with the pump and that it will make management of this disease easier.
