EVERY TIME I GET A LITTLE CLOSER TO FORGIVING MY H I HIT A ROADBUMP. HE STILL LIVES IN THE SAME GENERAL AREA AS OW AND THE IDEA OF HIM SEEING HER(EVEN IN PASSING) MAKES ME SO ANGRY ALL OVER AGAIN. PRAY FOR ME TO LET GO AND LET GOD.

PDILL; I prayed this very same prayer for a very long time (several years) in my own situation. I wanted to let you know that God will help you with your anger, it is understandable, but there will be a day when it is no longer present. I found one thing helpful as the anger and obsession would overtake me, I would pray for the focus of my anger. I prayed for H, for OW, and for OW's mother. Father, you know the situation in PDILL's life, complete with every thought, action, hurt, and even the damage that has accumulated from the past. We ask you to bring your healing and restoration to PDILL. Let your love wrap her in the cloak you save for those who are beloved by you. Let her be encompassed in your love, a love that is unconditional. Thank you Father for understanding what is in our hearts and why it is there. Thank you Father for desiring that we be whole, healthy, and happy as you created us to be. Father, please fellowship with this hurting woman and guide her in turning them over to you. Let your love pour out and cleanse the wounds from which the anger is created. IJN, Amen
