Hello All,
Does anyone have a verse or thought to share?
I'm going through such a broad range of emotions along with my husband. Since his IA/EA there are so many thoughts that run through my head-like panic attacks. I have been seeing a counselor on my own and she's helped. It's times like today, I took my daughter to the hairdressers and right in the waiting area, I have this anxiety come over me. I grabbed my magazine hard and had to breath to make it stop. I do have faith
but it wavers when this happens. I have prayed for many months and funny even before the A started, asking God to help me be the wife my husband needs. I feel lost at times and I guess I just need a lift. Can anyone help me with these feelings??
Firefly

I can only tell you a couple of things that helped me. One was a short prayer that simply thanked God for his immense love for me. As I thanked him for his love, I could feel it around me. That helped.
Another was a prayer (prayed often ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif) ) telling God that I knew I could not "make" my H do anything, control his thoiughts or actions, but rather asking God to watch over him, and walk thru this with him...as I prayed that, I felt a little lightness, as if the burden of "what to do about this" lifted a bit from me.
Hang in there--
Kathi

firefly...the lord spirit rest with you. Keep your head up and try to recite Psalm 23 when you feel worn out or anxious. Personally I have been feeling calm when I read Psalms, maybe it might help.
Whatever is happening now is happening for a reason, keep calm and pray for him too and his OW, ask the lord to guide you through this storm.
God Bless...
Real123
Real123,
I'm trying to remember God's love. This morning I woke up feeling the need to bring it all to God, to repent of everything & anything, even the stuff I don't see.
I crave for Him to work in me and to change me for the better. I've exhausted myself trying to do it all by myself. I'm thankful though too, for this sight and that I can come here for support and talk to friends that understand & can help.

Firefly

firefly...you're well on your way to recovery and a new self. Keep on with the prayers, keep busy with the kids and the house cleaning and other important stuff that has to be done for all of your family.
Don't give up, keep faith alive, in your own little ways start claiming what is yours. For example, take care of all the house chores, including his\kids, cook his favorites, rent his favorite movies, etc. etc. Keep busy. This has to be done in very little ways not aggressive.
Keep up the good spirit for God has answered your prayers. The lord will bring him home to you unexpected. All of you including him and OW are in my constant prayers.
God Bless
