I have read Dr. Harley's books. I have tried to implement the wisdom he shares. However, it is hard to work on a two-person relationship alone. I NEED PRAY IN A BIG WAY!
After two years, I am still not healed from the reality of my husband's affairs, especially the second one because it was with the wife of a couple he used to "hang out" with. It lasted for over two years.
At any rate, it was a shock and continues to be a burden. To make matters worse, my husband and the OW had a baby. Now, she is coming around for money. My husband wants visitation rights. The OW husband is making threats. And I am turning into this extremely bitter and violent woman. And I don't like it.
I try to pray, but God feels so far away. I think it would help if I truly felt like my husband was willing to commit to his family like he says in words. But I feel like he thinks his infidelity was all my fault. I do admit that I had a role in the unhappiness and lack of fulfillment in our marriage, but I refuse to take the blame for the choice he made. Last night we got into a real fight. Because of the way he responded to me, I exploded and turned into the woman from hell right on the church parking lot.
I need prayer to help me look to the Lord and to heal. Whether my husband and I are together or not, I need to be whole. I need to know joy.

You are in my prayers!
Dear Lord, I lift this precious woman up to you right now and I ask you to comfort her. Let her sense your presence with her, Lord. Strengthen her heart and her faith, give her the assurance that you are working in this situation. In Jesus name, AMEN.
