Hi! I have endometriosis. Because of this disease, I have severe, excrutiating pain with arousal and after(sometimes during )sex. I have told my husband this and he has personally seen me in severe pain. His idea of support is to bring me the Advil!! I have begged him to stop making me have sex with him to no avail. I have offered to please him without intercourse as long as he doesn't touch me but he can't seem to keep his hands off of me! Normally this wouldn't be a problem but it is a huge one due to the disease that I have.
We will be attending a Family Life Marriage Conference in 2 weeks.
Please pray for us.
Thanks!
God Bless,
Kim

Kim,
I am so sorry that you have such pain. I was going through a very difficult time with my wife who has multiple sclerosis (MS). I don't know why us husbands have such a difficult time with listening and doing what is right when it comes to our wives. I can recomend two books for YOU to read first and then recomend them to your husband. 1st, Beyond the chaos, (one man's journey alongside his chronically ill wife) by Gregg Piburn. 2nd, Surviving your spouse's chronic illness. I hope these resources help. If you want to stay in touch and let me know the outcome my e-mail is TGattino@aol.com, Ted
