I would more than appreciate any prayers you can send on my behalf.
I am married with two children and due in 3 weeks with my third.
I have recently discovered that my husband has developed a "relationship" with another woman. I have confronted him and he states that nothing physical happened and that he and her "talked." I know that he led her to believe we were getting a divorce and that he was very unhappy. He led her on. I have made myself known to her and she has responded very angrily to him. She has moved out of the state and he assures me that he has no further contact with her. I am not confident of this.
I do not trust him and am so deeply hurt. We are beginning marriage counseling next week and I am constantly at prayer. I believe he is battling himself over guilt and perhaps an early mid-life crisis.
I do not want him to stay with me if this is not where he wants to be.
Please pray that God will speak to his heart and heal mine. I am at the end of my rope and must struggle to keep focused on my pregnancy and my two other small children.
Thank you in advance for your prayers.
If nothing else, these kinds of situations can only prove to you how strong your faith is! (or isn't)
Marrow, please don't lose hope. An awesome and powerful God is in control of everthing. Turn it over to him. I believe that it is God's will that no marriage be demolished, but it may take a lot of work on the part of you and your husband. Counseling sounds like a great start. Hope it goes well and you will be in my prayers. Keep in touch and let us know how things are going. God bless you and your family!

I am praying for you that the Lord will speak to your husband, and give you comfort and strength to take care of yourself and the little ones. I still can't believe nor understand why I am going through what I am, but I will never lose my faith.
praying for you,
Petrie

Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers. It is really appreciated
God has really shown me that my marriage is broken and needs fixed. Because I can only take care of ME and cannot force my husband to act, I have started couseling on my own. I have issues that I need to deal with and I finally see that. In NO way am I blaming myself or justifying his actions, it is just very clear to me that for him to do something like this, to confide in someone else, our marriage was not what it should have been. We have agreed to put everything into it because the love is still there and because of the kids.
Thanks, again. I am glad that I found this site!
