To all my friends in Christ,<P>I am not sure if many of you know of my car accident 3 weeks ago (the post is in General Questions about 3 weeks back).<BR>As a result of my car accident I underwent x-rays on my skull. They wanted to rule out fractures as most of my injuries were localized there. Anyway, about a week after my x-rays my family doctor called to consult with me about the x-rays. There were some visible "spots" on the x-ray that needed to be investigated further. I redid the x-rays and the "spots" were still there, now I have to undergo a CT scan and I am really afraid.<BR>The doctor said it is most likly nothing to worry about but how can I not. They have no idea of what these "spots" are, and now I play the waiting game.<BR>Please pray for me, I really need peace of mind and spirit.<P>------------------<BR>Love and Prayers<BR>Nicole

I had a car accident just over six years ago, in which most of my injuries were confined to my head and face. Many long hours of fear. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Try to have a positive outlook and remember that the good Lord will not ask you to endure anything more than what you are able. God bless..

Dear Nicole,<BR>I would like toknow if you have had other symptoms like any tingling in your arms/legs? any trouble seeing, maybe blurred vision? Any numbness in your arms/legs or face? How has your balance been? Do you have any fatigue? Please think back over the past several years maybe even since being a young teen. I don't know how old you are. <BR>Just know that God has allowed this accident to happen so that you could find out what this "problem" is. Did the doctor call the spots "plaques"? I haven't had any tingling that I recall but have had dizzy spells and an increase in headaches lately. I have been really tired but all these symptoms could easily be attributed to other things. I have 3 kids, have recenly gone back to school, using computers, probably don't eat well enough. Hi Nicole,<BR>I will pray for you and your doctors. Please stay in touch about this. My wife was mis-diagnosed after her car accident 9 years ago. The doctor observed spots on her scan and dismissed them. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 3.5 years ago after she had the symptoms mentioned before. I don't want to scare anyone but since many doctors do not know what to look for it's better to really find out sooner than later. The new meds that have come out in the past three years are doing wonderful things to stop progression or slow it down. I pray you do not have anything like ms. Whatever happens, God is near. Ted

Good News!!!<P>The results of my CT scan came back as negative. The doctor said there were no abnormalitites, nor were there any masses inside my brain.<P>What a sigh of relief.<P>I was pretty scared, but tried to trust in the lord - sometimes that is much easier said than done.<P>I really want to thank all those of you who prayed for me and my family at this time.
