Please keep me in your prayers. My divorce will be final at the end of April-my husbands wishes. He is making a new life with the OW, not even thinking about all the pain he inflicted on his wonderful wife. He is happy & having fun, basically carefree. Me on the other hand feel like I am at the breaking point and even consider the "worst" way out of this all. I really need prayer that I can find the strength and courage to go on, I am losing hope, and don't feel like being "here" anymore,
Why do people, especially those closest to us, hurt us so. Life is too cruel sometimes. Please help me.
Rejected, you are in my prayers daily. Please do not give up hope. You are in a lonely place, I know, but you are not alone. There were days when I could not even get myself dressed, much less feed or clothe my children. What helped me was to focus on one task at a time and try to get my mind off of everything else. I started running and it changed my whole outlook. Maybe you could start something like that - something for you.
Heavenly Father, be with Rejected today and this weekend as she struggles to pick up the pieces and go on with her life. Give her your peace and comfort her in these dark hours. Help her to find the strength and courage to go on. She is one of your precious children and I know that you will not abandon her. Through You all things are possible. Amen

Thank you so much for your prayers gatorgirl. Excercising has been a great way for me to release and escape a little. I am in such a deep dark place and am so very weary.

I just put my three year old to bed and when we said her prayers we prayed for you. She was incredibly earnest in her prayers for someone who I only told her was very sad.
I hope that you have a restful night. Please let me know how you are doing.
God bless . . .

gatorgirl,
I am posting while the tears just won't stop.
Aren't children the best!! I have 4nephews and a niece, and am very close to all of them. The older ones noticed when Auntie wasn't the same anymore (they are so preceptive). My niece wrote me such a touching letter (she's 10). It is just one of the many ways they've shown how much they care. My husband and I never had any children, something I wanted so badly. I am glad that there aren't any right now so they wouldn't have to go through this, but part of the selfishness in me wishes I had a child of my own, so I could be focusing my everything on them. Thank you so much, and please tell your daughter I said thank you too.
With the Lord all things are possible!!!!!!!!!!!
Right???
Amen . . .
I was just reading something Madeleine Engel wrote in reflecting upon Holy Week and Jesus' last days: "What kept him going? What keeps us going when we're in the worst of it? The knowledge that we are loved by our Creator. . . "
Sometimes that is all that has kept me going, as I have felt abandoned by everyone around me.
Do not lose hold of God's everlasting and sustaining love . . .

I will not lose hold
I will trust in the Lord, and know that his love will sustain me. Thank you so much for you kind words.
You know, my sister was pregnant and had her baby in the midst of my terrible ordeal. They didn't know that they'd have a boy, and even decided on a different name after seeing him. Anyhow they named him Noah, and he has been such a joy in my life. At church the other day, our Pastor was reading out of Genesis and he brought up Noah-He then told us what Noah means, it means comfort. I'm thinking that my sister couldn't have picked a better name, because Noah has brought me so much joy and comfort.
God Bless, Petrie
Petrie -
Just keep thinking good thoughts . . .
It's funny that you mention Noah - when I was pregnant with my fourth child, Noah was the name we had picked out if we had a boy . . . but it was a girl and so Noah became Molly . . . a truly sweet child who still brings much comfort (and whose prayers we talked about earlier) . . .
Blessings . . .
patti ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)

Petrie,
As hard as this is for you, you take care of what God wants for you!!! I am (as you know) going through something sort of similar. I have felt the way you do at times and even after I thought I was over those feelings, they came back again. You hang in there and keep writing to us and calling your family and friends. We will all stand together and grow through these times. I used to live in Garden Grove! I am now in Maryland. Stay in touch and God WILL bless you.

Rejected,
I haven't posted here for some time. Your post moved me and I wanted to share with you that I was in the same pain last summer. I too had toughts of ending my life. It is alright to have them as long as you don't react to them. I cried out to the Lord for His will and for understanding. God was faithful and sent me to this web site www.restorem.org.
God has stopped my divorce twice since and has shown me so much. God has changed me and my husband and I are working on a new relationship. My husband is not home yet but I know he will be because God has given me many signs, my husband doesn't even know he is coming home yet, but I know.
God is in charge and He can do what seems impossible to us.
I pray you go to this web site and I pray Our Father speaks to you through this site as He did to me. He loves you and wants you to depend on Him for everything.
gentle
