Hi friends,
Well, let's see... some of this is going to blow you away! But we still need prayer. Patty and I met on Thursday (3-29)at her attorney's office, in her home. God answered so much prayer! I wasn't blasted with anything that I did wrong at all. Patty's heart was very soft and she allowed me to share so much with her. After our meeting, we all had lunch together!!! WOW. Try this web site www.restorem.org./home.html I used this the other day and told Patty everything was 100% my fault. That I was sorry for putting her in the position she was in, having to deal with everything on her own and not having me there to help her, etc. She reponded with-in two minutes with an email to me thanking me!!! Now, prayer... Patty still wants to get divorced "so we can get re-married and start clean. And then who cares what my friends say" She is so concerned about her friends (non-Christain) while all of her Christian friends are saying she is so wrong for what she is doing and holding the Word up to her. She doesn't want to hear it. She says I will win again and she will lose if she gets back together with me before we get a divorce first. Please pray for us as the Lord leads you in your heart. I will keep you informed and I thank all of you who have lifted us up in your prayers. Ted ><>

Ted,
Praise God your meeting with Patty went so well. Praise God she wants you in her life. I will pray that Patty seeks God will about the Divorce and that is lets her pride go by not listening to the world's solutions.
God also answered my prayer for you. I had prayed that you would go to the restore ministry site to seek His word and will.
God is so good!Praise Him!
In Him.
gentle

Ted, I am glad to hear things are going so well for you! I am so excited and hopeful for the future you and Patty have. Be patient and remember that everything will be revealed in His time. Continue to work on yourself and your relationship with God and everything else will just come naturally. Be faithful and dutiful and God will reward you. Prayers for Patty...(and you!)

She must be afraid, Ted. She is talking about you "winning again." Maybe she is afraid of losing her self-respect, not just her friends' respect. Keep being humble and let her know this is how you always want to be - it's not an act to get her back. It sounds like she thinks divorcing you will make her more "equal", even if we understand that that's wrong. Remember a husband should love his wife like Christ loves the Church - He gave up everything for His Church. She will come around as you continue on your path, I am sure. I am so happy for the giant steps you have taken and the prayers which have been answered!!! I will keep you in my prayers.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support. I cannot tell you how much your words have blessed my heart as I here things about everything working out.
Please pray for me now. I have told Patty that I will not call her or write to her right now because she is starting to feel pressured. She "needs time". This is so hard for me to let go. I will stay humble (and this is part of my true humility) and seek God first. I feel scared. I have had problems being controlling (ex-cop, and now business owner. Me? Controlling? ....) and I need to stop. I miss Patty so much. I miss Michael so much. Please continue to pray for all of us. Ted ><>

Dear Ted,
The hardest thing is waiting. We all want to control our situations and we want to everything to hurry up and happen. Think about when you were little - how Christmas never seemed to come and now there doesn't seem to be a day between Thanksgiving and Christmas. God's on another schedule and we are like little kids to Him, trying to hurry the days up till Christmas.
Keep working on you so that when it really is time, your new habits and your new outlook is fully part of you. It takes time to change yourself, even with God's help.
It has been so great to hear how much progress you've already made. I'm not surprised that Patty needs time, because so much has happened. Don't worry about it. You are so sweet to want her so much and she will understand that.
Trust God's schedule. It's hard! We all need patience. I'll keep praying for you. Take care and keep writing.
