I thank everyone here for your uplifting words and prayers. This last Sunday, I became a God mother. When "our" friends asked me I was so touched and felt honoured. The God father happens to be one of my husbands closest friends (my friend too!). We drove to the church together and talked a bit. Our friend hasn't really spent much time with Greg but he did go out for breakfast with him a couple of weeks ago. He said he thought that although they didn't talk about our divorce or really delve to deep, he thought that Greg was truly confused and that this new relationship won't last.
I want the best for Greg (my stbx) don't get me wrong. But I was glad to hear from a friend who has sat down with him and looked him in the eye-and saw confusion. Two other friends who are very close to Greg have said this also.
My husband filed for divorce so readily and was so determined to get this over with in order to begin his new life-a little confusion now is a good thing- even if it is kind of late in the "game" (this is no game).
I haven't made any sort of contact with Greg and have kept myself busy. Please continue to pray for my relationship with the Lord to strengthen, and for my marriage to be restored.
Thank you,
Petrie

Petrie,
Of course he is confused, he is Satan's prisoner.Don't apologize for saying he is confused. Praise God! He is not happy! YOU are what is best for him, Petrie. You are his wife. Keep trusting the Lord and things will happen. Keep reading your books.
It is NEVER too late for God. He has His own time table.
Praise God in all you do and believe. Don't let Satan steal anything from you.
In Christ,
gentle
[This message has been edited by gentle (edited April 23, 2001).]
