Good morning,
As I have told you all, I have made no contact to husband. He doesn't know of my current struggles (he does know that I owe quite a bit in taxes), but that is it. My problems are pretty small when I read about others and their plight. I am alone so I just have to worry about myself (no children).
Anyhow my husband called me out of the blue this morning. No ranting and raving-just how are you doing?, are you doing okay. I don't know if one of our mutual friends said anything, but my car came up (I'm having auto problems! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] ) And he acted concerned and I told him how I planned on tackeling the problem. He said that he had sold quite a few homes and would be sending me money soon. It is part of the settlement he determined from the divorce settlement.
It always brings me down a little to hear from him. Like, look where we are and what has happened to us. He was kind and seemed to care. After this call, I wasn't totally upset like I normally am after hearing from him.
What do you all think?
I'm glad you are going to get some help from him. I used to cry everytime I hung up the phone when H moved away, so I know what you mean by feeling "down". You sound very strong and sure.

It sounds very positive. This is such slow going so don't forget there may be a little setback but you're on the right path. It's great that HE called and is showing concern. I'm glad about that. Keep focusing on the future and not on the present circumstances and he will be attracted to your strength as he probably already is.
Give it over when you have a bad day - it's not in your control but God has some great surprises in line for you. Keep praising Him in all things. Just like kids grow when they get fevers, we grow when we're in pain and we turn it over to God.
I hope you have a peaceful day today.
