Although a divorce has taken place, I pray for the Lord to heal my marriage and make it better than ever before.

I am so glad that you have not given up hope for reconciliation. I pray for all of us here who are trusting God to heal our marriages. Keep the faith and in God's time your marriage will be healed.
I strongly suggest this site if you haven't already been.
www.restorem.org
gentle

Morriggs,
My prayers are with you. Do you still talk with your X? Does your X seem interested in trying to restore any part of your relationship?

[QUOTE]Originally posted by still_hurting:
[B]Morriggs,
Do you still talk with your X?- Actually we are still in the same house even now 3 months after the divorce. He owns the house now and has agreed to let me stay there until I find something I can afford and is safe.
Does your X seem interested in trying to restore any part of your relationship? - He has told me he doesn't want to be married, so he isn't willing to reconcile us. But he wants us to remain friends, and we have so far. We get along well now. So I still believe the Lord will restore us, and my hubby just doesn't know it yet. I can't seem to refer to him as my ex, since according to God, we are still one flesh.

Morriggs,
I don't know if you have read the book by Dr. Phil McGraw, Relationship Rescue, but it is an excellent book. The book makes you focus on yourself before you can focus on anything else. You may want to read this book if you haven't already. I will keep you in my prayers.
