My mother just called and the 10 year old boy who lives downstairs from them was just hit by a car on the street outside their place.<P>It seems pretty serious. I'm still waiting to hear from her.<P>He's an only child and so, so sweet. The day before Mother's Day.<P>Please pray for him and his parents. Thank you

I'm sorry to report that he was killed instantly.<BR>He was on a scooter and rode down a steep driveway right into the street. There was no way for the car to stop in time.<BR>Please keep his parents and the high school boys who were driving in your prayers. Everyone is devastated.<BR>Thank you.

Lord, please let the parents draw close to You and not be angry with You. It is the most devastating sorrow to lose a child. Lord, he is with you now - let him give comfort to his parents and friends. Let us all learn to avoid accidents because of this and remember how precious all of our lives are. Amen.
