Please pray for me HARD. I am at the lowest point in my life and am having so much pain. I offer it up to God but I feel so lonely in my journey. I'm about to lose my job, my family life is a mess, and I can't seem to function anymore. I stopped asking God why, and am trying so hard to feel His peace, but sometimes I feel I can't take another step. I believe God is all powerful and want to feel Him in my life so badly. I don't know how I got to this place and I don't like being here. On top of everything, I think I'm an alcoholic.

I'm sorry you are feeling so down. I will lift you and your entire situation in prayer. When it rains it pours and it can seem so very overwhelming. Put it all in His hands.

Thanks Janie. You are so right..it's pouring where I am. I do feel a little better thouogh, I'm trying to let God handle my life and show me the way. Maybe I will finally listen

I pray for you, in the midst of this overwhelming situation. I know how you feel, more or less, because I have been totally incapacitated by my grief more than once. I am taking antidepressants now which have given me the strength to go forward more rationally and less emotionally. (I had trouble getting out of bed, eating, going to work, playing with my daughter etc.) God wants you healthy and strong so you can deal with your problems and lead others to Him. Admitting you need help is important. The Lord WILL take care of you, if you let him. In my opinion, doctors might be part of that picture. The important thing is not to use medicine or alcohol to avoid your problems or the Lord. Medicine and counseling should help you work through your problems and change your reactions to them.<P>I am sure you will find the answers you need through prayer and the changes God brings in your life as you give it over to Him. It's okay to tell Him when you've had enough. After that comes the best part - feeling like you are being lifted up and hugged by the Lord, feeling the strength and the calm of the Divine Joy. I pray that you will feel it soon and get some relief and that your suffering will bring great fruit to those around you. God bless you today and every day. This trial will make you shine. Hold on and keep in touch.<BR>
