Long story, will try to tell it in a nutshell. About a year ago I myself had an affair. Knew it was wrong from the start and so did other person. Decided that although there was things missing from marriage I loved H dearly and wanted to work it out. (We had just suffered a terrible miscarriage a few months prior and had moved 12 hours away from all of our friends and family 1 1/2 years previous to that for H's job.)
H wanted to work it out too, he seemed strong and willing to forgive and wanted it to work. I felt like I had been given a second chance at life. In trying to rebuild it though he seemed frustrated with me and I was at times frustrated with him, he seemed so focused on 'what I did' with someone else and not the fact that there was something missing w/in our relationship that led to it. I moved out in Dec. to put some space between us so we could start more 'anew' WRONG CHOICE!!!! It seems that shortly after this he 'gave up' so to speak. Now he is seeing someone that his cousin introduced him to, even though we had agreed that we weren't 'separated' and seeing others. He is with her every weekend and I found a card that she had written him, there was a stack but reading one was enough. It spoke of 'our love and how we will soon be able to be together.
Basically I thought we were still building back our relationship and he had actually given up. He thinks we should divorce but wants it to be mutual. I am begging him for one more chance. We were such an incredible couple, I know he still loves me in his heart, I KNOW we can have an amazing relationship again. How do I get him to give it a chance?? How do I get this other person out of his life?? You probably read this and think "she deserves what she is getting". I know I made a mistake, I am so sorry. I am sorry that the pregnancy didn't work out-I feel that he blames me for that still. Please dear Lord, just one more chance???

Dont give up dear. God isnt punishing you. The miscarriage isnt your fault. After 2 1/2 years sepration i gave up on my wife cause she was suicidal with drugs and i hadent heard from her in 8 months. I met a woman at work and we fell for each other. Then my wife shows up!!! She was in drug treatment for the 3rd time and i was skeptical that she finally hit bottom, but i was glad she wasnt dead and i startd seeing her and the love in my heart grew for her, and less for the woman i was with. I left the woman, and my wife and i have fallen in love for each other again. It was rough at first, but i knew deep in my heart that it was Gods hand on it all and that all my prayers werent invain. Just ask the Lord to love your husband thru you and be kind and loving towards him. Cry to the Lord, He will be with you thru this all. Give Him your pain and sorrrow. Lord, i lift my sister up to you that you would heal her pain of a miscarriage and broken marriage. Lord we know that our sin is covered by the blood of Christ and that you remember our sin no more, yet the enemy comes and lies to us and constantly reminds us of past sins you have forgiven Lord. Draw near to my sister Lord and give her your peace. Lord , i pray that you show her how dearly loved she is by you. Hear her cries Lord, and give her hope that its all in your hands and you are a God of restoration. In Jesus name, Amen
Mark

Dear Sarabee,
If there's one thing I've learned from my Husband's A, it's not to judge anybody. If it could happen to him, it could happen to a lot of people. We're not judging, believe me. Every one of us has done more than one thing wrong and we can't point the finger. Don't worry about that AT ALL. Really.
I'm really sorry about this new development in your life. I pray with you that this relationship dies soon and that you can work things out with your husband. I pray that God is just calling you closer to Him and will call your husband very soon. I can imagine how devastated you are after you cut off your relationship because you recognized how much you loved your husband only to lose him again. But he's actually not lost yet. Please keep your faith and change whatever you can in yourself (this is advice I have to keep reminding myself of...)
God is here. He has a plan for you. You WILL be okay.
If you haven't already been directed there, go to Restorem.org and order their book about restoring your marriage. You have to be firm that you want it restored in the Lord.
Take care and God bless you and keep you close to his heart. Forgive yourself and your husband and you will be forgiven for all your sins. Have faith and stick to the right path.
Plan A is very helpful, in case you haven't read about it yet on this site.
Dear Jesus, please help this family to come back together and to build their life around You. Most of us have made the mistake of building our relationships on sand but You want to be the Rock we can stand on. Forgive us all of our sins, our transgressions, our laziness, our lack of forgiveness, our lack of faith. Don't let Sarabee's feelings of guilt get in the way of her relationship with You. Let her feel Your Mercy and forgiveness. She needs to feel Your love in order to go on. Build us all up again in You. Bring this husband home and all of our spouses home again. I ask this in Your Most Holy Name, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen. (Thank you.)
