Rj, i cant tell ya havent done nor felt the same way, and more than once. It was during those times that i gave up and got made at peoples advice on just give it to God and i got real mad at God also, that God fianlly stepped in and did some work on my own messed up heart. Im not going to tell you not to feel this way cause its going to happen in all these situaions for all of us. The key really is perseverence. Its like special forces training and God is looking for a few good men/woman to go into the prisoner of war camps and get our mates out. That is mainly done by prayer, trusting in God and persevering under trial of tourture, pain and sorrow. These trials would break the avaerage or not so average real special forces military personel. Ive seen it fist hand. Do you hear the laughing. Thats the devil. He thinks hes won and got you to bow to him. If we cant handle these trials and just give up, then we more than likly would deny Christ and renounce Him at gunpoint. Remember why the little girl died recently in that school shooting. The shooter told her to renounce Jesus. She didnt, and died for Jesus. I pray that the Lord gives you the strenth to persevere under trial and push on to the high calling of spreading the gospel, through how you live your life and the choices you make. The devil and his angels and the world around have there eyes on you. Are you going to cry defeat. God also has His eyes on you and has only asked that you trust in Him. Trust Him, even when you dont feel like it. It will all catch up. God honors obedience over faith. Your faith will grow. I pray that Gods love shines thru your heart towards your wife and that He gives you rest from the overwealming pain you have inside. In Jesus name, Amen
Mark

I feel and know what pain you must be going through. I am in the same situation with my H. I wish I could just throw some water in his face and wake him up. I'm looking to God for help too, but nothing yet. I am going to have my mother-in-law come over tonight & help me. I would do anything to have my H quit running & saying he doesn't feel anything even after he's tried so hard. I'm scared he will crash. I'm not a good at praying but I will pray for you too. Please God help us in our tough times, keep us strong. Please send us hope that we have been looking for. We need you now more than ever. Please hear are many prayers guide us and guide our spouses who have astrayed. Please protect us from harm. In your name we pray. Amen

This can't work!
My W is not willing, and I'm not able to continue this hopeless fight alone.
You're not supposed to be fighting alone, you're supposed to be lettting GOD fight the fight.
If GOD wants me to drop to my knees... I've done that... if HE wants me to beg HIM for forgiveness for my faults... I've done that... if HE wants me to ask HIM to take my pain... I've done that too!
God does not want you to BEG, he wants you to TRUST him and thank Him for the work HE has already started, but you must trust without seeing at this point. That is true in my life, too, but I must continue to STAND on His promises. C'mon, RJ, God doesn't lie. Trust Him. Pray for Him to help you do this. He will, He wants to.
Lovemess,
I know it's hard to pray when you don't know how, or haven't done it before. There's nothing to it, really, Just like talking to your "daddy"!! Try it:
"Father, I need help. I'm so sad, and confused, and hurt. Make the hurt go away. I love my spouse, and I need him/her to come home. You can make it happen, Father. Please help me see how to help you make that happen. Please, Father, I hurt so much, and I don't know how much more I can stand. Thank you for dying for us to save us from the eternal damnation payment for our sin, and thank you for showing us your eternal love for us. Father, if anyone has a spouse that doesn't know that you love them and Jesus died to pay for their sins, please show them that, too. Please, Father, show us what a loving Father would do for his hurting children. Please, Father, hear our prayers, and heal our hurts. Amen.
Lupo
