My very close friend's H was just arrested for having sexual relations with a 13-16 year old. She is totally devastated, has been married for many many years, etc. I am so worried about her. I'm praying. <P>I pray that God will fill your friend with His comfort and peace. I pray for strength, energy, patience, insight, and faith that she can trust God to lead her in every step in this crisis. I pray for protection on her H's mind - that the enemy will leave him alone, that God will lift him up and deliver him from the enemy, and that he will seek God for guidance, forgiveness, and safety. Dear Lord, I know you must be so sad to look down and see what your enemy has wrought with our help on this earth. We have young girls who look and act like they're twenty, but deep inside they are still babies, looking for affection and attention.<P>We have somehow allowed the "modern" world to put across the message that the most important thing in life is sex. This focus has warped everything in our society in the last twenty years. Unfortunately, it's hard to shock us anymore.<P>Help us to remember that life has all sorts of pleasures. The true joy is Yours. The peace that You give us when we most need it is far better than any drug or human experience. We have a very hard time quieting our souls and resting in You. We are deviated by 100's of little things and we are attracted to the false promises of the mass media.<P>Lord, I pray for this man to wake up from his fog, to repent, to seek your forgiveness and to reconcile with You.<P>I pray for his wife to have the strength and the courage to handle this terrible event and to draw ever closer to You. You lean down to get us when we suffer, Jesus, and that is the only way we can bear it. Please lean down and pick up this poor woman and her family and let her know how very much You love her. Let her rest in You. Protect her from undue gossip, from prying friends. Let her feel Your love and mercy and let her see her husband change according to Your will. I ask this in Your Holy Name, Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior, the Messiah. Amen.<P><BR>
