Father,
I confess that I am not always making decisions and acting my life as a Christian - having fears about what we will eat, and what we will wear - and not being content in all situations as you have commanded me. Father, I know that I have allowed a root of bitterness to grow within me towards my stepdaughter, her mother, and in-laws. Father, I know they haven't always been supportive of our marriage, and they have done me wrong. But, I forgive them, and will not count their sins against them anylonger - In the Name of Jesus your perfect son, my saviour.
I know Lord that I must not hold anything against anyone before I come to you. You are Holy, majestic and worthy of all praise. Thank you for forgiving my sins through your son, Jesus Christ.
Father, I lift up Paul to you. Father, he is in need of strength because he is tired. He is in need of courage because he is weak. Father, he is weary with his emotions, and the general direction of his relationship life. Father, I know that Paul loves you, trusts you, believes in you, has faith in you, and wants to follow your lead.
Lord, I ask that you increase his faith and knowledge in you, and help him to be a better Christian. Father, I also pray that you increase wisdom in him.
I lift up his family, Lord, and ask that you protect them from all harm. Thank you that there is no sin to large to forgive, and I ask that you give Paul a forgiving heart.
Lord, I pray that in addition to softening Amanda's heart toward Paul, that you increase her wisdom as well. Lord, please break all unholy bonds, and I also pray that the strongholds be broken that are holding Amanda, in the Name of Jesus. I know she loves you and Paul, Lord, but she is bound by Satan. I pray that Paul be given the wisdom of prayer and faith to bind those strongholds.
Lord, I ask for your mercy and grace on this family, and on Paul specifically. Give him a diversion from all the emotional turmoil he has been undergoing, and Lord I ask that you keep him from temptation. In Jesus Holy Name,
Amen
