Glory to God!
Just had to pop in to share that H saw oncologist this morning and his thyroglobulin levels are NORMAL and he DOES NOT need a further radioactive iodine at this time!
I already miss it here but know God has a purpose for it.
Tcat, if you happen to read this, I did get your email and haven't been able to reply--computer was acting up but seems better today.
Also, SueEllen, Lostpup and my friend whose real name I recall but forgotten your user name, I'll still be in touch with you by email, too. Haven't forgotten you.
JL, if you are reading this, hi! Hope that paper mountain is being conquered easily [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Thanks again to all my friends here. I am keeping you in my prayers while "fasting" for now [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
------------------
Fresh Start

Veryhurt, you are so sweet..thanks for answering.
Things are still going great although we are a tad concerned that H has had a painful sore throat with a strange stiffness on one side for a couple days. He must be worried as he made an app't with the family dr himself.
He sees the oncologist again in December.
I am "fasting" from MB for a time--not sure how long.
I love my job more every day--today was like a huge party-we had our golf tournament and the volunteers who helped were incredible. I met the Premier and his wife (we are her favorite charity) I have spent far too much time at work and it's been a bit of a struggle that I still have a type of unfaithfulness to H in being a workaholic. And I miss my kids so much. Things should quiet down for a bit now with work. (Then there is the concern of being kept on after Oct 15 depending on my predeccesor's health--but I have such a peace about it I don't really worry much at all and will probably stay on as a volunteer in some capacity myself.)
SueEllen recognized some things I need to share so I'm hoping to find some help through her godly counsel.
I do miss it here and think of you. I wonder how my "favorite" people are doing. And all of you are special.
Keep hoping. I just cannot believe the difference in my life since d-day Feb 15 compared to today.Wow!
You people have helped and as always prayer has made the difference. Thank you!
