Hi all. I am having terrible anxiety because my WS finally went to the Dr. and had an HIV test. This was this Wed. She had 3 PA's this year and my Dday was 10/1/01. I am having trouble focusing at work, at home, in the car, wherever I am. I am scared. Please someone say a prayer for me that my anxiety will lessen. Either the resullts will be positive or negative, I realize anxiety won't affect what the test results are, but I feel like I am crawling in my skin -- on pins and needles. Hellp!

Heavenly Father, I lift up Chabot to you now. Please give him the peace that passes all understanding in his hour of need. Let your will be done. We thank you for your Grace, father, and for the unconditional love that you pour out upon our souls each and every day. Be with Chabot Father, as he waits on the test results. I pray that his WS is AIDs-free. I pray for speedy results. Comfort Chabot in this hour, and each hour to come. In your precious son Jesus' name, AMEN

Thank you. Please know that I am praying for you today too. I don't think I could write as good a prayer as you did for me, but I am praying for ya just the same. I appreciate your concern! Chabat

Thank You MOM, Not Peachy, and Krystal for praying for me. I will say a prayer for each of you too. We got the test results back and they were negative! And let me tell you I feel a great sense of relief. However, I read on the CDC website that HIV does not always immediately show up in tests. It said it shows up on average in 25 days. However, it can also take up to 3 months and in rare cases up to 6 months to show up on a test. It has been over 2 months since my WS (W) had PA with OM, so I may not be out of the woods yet. I am thankful that for now the results are negative. I will ask her to be tested again next year in a few months. I just want this to be over, the anxiety about disease and anxiety about the affairs. But this is just where our M has gone and we have to LIVE through it. It just kills you. The WS's cannot imagine I don't think. My W said she was not really sweating the test results. I asked why and she said that she doesn't really worry unless she knows there is a problem. Partly, that is good, it means she will probably never get an ulcer. Partly, hmmm, it kinda hurts me a little that she was not worried because she put me at risk as well as herself. Anyway, I will try not to worry in the coming months, but it will be hard to forget that HIV or STD's are still a small chance. Thanks again for your prayers! Casting all your cares on Him, for He cares for you. Chabat
