I have posted in other threads this topic, so I won't go into to much detail, if you would like to know the details, go into DIVORCE thread and look for my posts or click here http://www.marriagebuilders.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=34&t=005230
My wife is Bi-Polar (aka Manic Depressive), I don't think she is necessarily cycling as they call it but I think she is not in a good position.
We both are Christians (haven't been active in a few years), and I have recently rededicated my life to the Lord (I was raised Baptist but am now a NON-DENOMINATIONAL "EV Free"). It seems like since the Thanksgiving Day weekend she has closed off her heart to all things pretaining to me and the kids. When I have mentioned the Bible she says things like "Don't start that Bible thumping with me". She has mentioned that "After the divorce, if I find someone and I want them to move in with me, I think that is fine and there is nothing you can do about it". This is not my wife talking and I think it is the illness.
I have prayed for her constantly and while she was asleep I laid my hands on her and prayed for her. In her heart she is a good women that would never normally act like this. I haven't made it too easy either at times. I to have been changing like JD Black (other post).
My wife wants to file after the holidays. To me that is a sign that she really doesn't want this, but she wants to have her fun (see http://www.marriagebuilders.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=34&t=005230)
I ask that you pray for me and our 3 kids becaue it is starting to effect them. I ask that the Lord heals her mind and heart and she decides to come home from her mother's a week earlier to be with the family.
Thank you!

Lord, You know defcon888's heart. I ask that you lift up his W and soften her heart towards her H and family. Lord, you in your infinite wisdom teach us through our trials. Please help this family heal and come back together Lord. I ask that you give defcon888 the strength to get through the holidays if you decide, Lord, that he has more to work on before restoring his M. I ask that you protect the children as only you can. Give them the peace that their mother loves them, she's just lost right now. Guard all of them from this pain. I ask all of these things in Jesus' precious name;
AMEN

Dear Jesus,
Please send us hope for your birthday. Let each of us experience the hope that you gave the world when You were born. The hope the angels sang about.
Lord, You came down naked and cold to be treated badly by us when you were used to the love and warmth of Heaven. You went through horrible suffering so we could be saved. You said that we were so precious that You would leave the 99 in the flock to go after the one who strayed. This man's wife has strayed, Lord. Please go after her and bring her back to her family. I ask this in Your Holy Name, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Bless all who read and pray on this forum. We need You Lord. Please give us hope this Christmas.

defcon888, I am so sorry you're going through such a fierce trial. I haven't read your postings, but my heart goes out to you. I have a family member who acts this way also, it is just heartbreaking. I will be praying for you,
Father in Heaven, I lift up defcon888 to you, please give him an extra measure of your peace and understanding. Father, I pray that the strongholds the enemy has upon defcon888's wife are broken, right now in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, please go after defcon's wife, speak to her heart and turn her heart first back to You and then to her husband. Lord, Let there be nothing the enemy can do to destroy this family. Satan is bound and cast far away from defcon and his wife, in Jesus' name. Bring peace and harmony to this family, I ask for healing for defcon's wife in Jesus' name, and stand on the promise of Your Word which tells us by Your stripes we are healed. Thank You Father for all the blessings poured out upon us, thank You Father for bringing clarity to defcon's wife's mind. In Jesus' name I pray AMEN
