It's hard learning to trust others sometimes. It took a long time to trust myself again.
I'm in a unique situation, having been a pastor in my fairly recent former life. My pastor and W are upset with H and I for agreeing to let the ex-youth pastor visit with our girls for a short term assignment (she returned to Bible school but left our church)
I think it's none of their business and resent the idea they may wish to control our lives. We have observed some unhealthy relationships between them and other members who ended up walking away...we love our pastors and want to keep a friendship while being respected as adults to make our own decisions. How far does it go when it comes to coming under their authority?
Prayers for a peaceful resolution please. I love PW and don't want to lose her from my life but frankly I faced a lot of abuse in ministry and don't choose to let it happen on the other side
