My husband had an affair, left for 2 months, came back under false pretenses, left for the weekend (he is in the national guard, he also is OW's SGT tought to seperate)came back with the agenda to stay, we were doing fine until she e-mailed him...Satan used that to make me totally paranoid. Come to find out the last week or so before he left this Monday, they were talking. He is at drill right now, I expect him home soon. He is going to decide weather to stay or go. Please pray that he stays, my 5 yr. old. girl wannts daddy to fix his promise and come home. He says he has no doubt that God can and will fix our marriage, but he doesn't know if he wants to come back. Also pray for him to have the dedication and for the Lord to urge his heart to do the total seperation thing, even if it means transferring. Thank you. I am so sorry for your pain, and for your Daughter's questions. Innocent children just shouldn't have to deal with this stuff... I was a military W for years, infidelity is rampant and acceptable. Holding on to morals seems to be a tough road there and I know that the situation lends itself to so much temptation. I wish that my H had been strong, but he wasn't. Well, my husband agreed to 5 months of trying, as we speak he is on the phone with the OW. I can just imagine what is being said. He will try, go to the MB weekend and do the twelve weeks,if the program and God has not made him love me then he can file for divorce, I won't because I don't believe in it. He said he has always viewed us as platonic...I can't believe the lies that he is convincing himself of. Or she is. Pray, pray hard for me, and any advice would be great, I have a feeling that he is looking at this like a prision sentence. Any spouses that have felt like him and changed? ANYTHING!? Pray that The Lord will touch him and show him His will. For the blinders to be removed, also the contact will be once a month because he is her SGT. in the National Guard. Dear Faith-n-Hope: All I know is where I currently am. I am at a place where I will work on my marriage. Does this offer *some* hope? I'm praying to fall back in love with my husband, and God has shown me a need to work on my marriage. I am so weak right now, but as scripture says,"in our weakness, He becomes strong." Is it possible for you to contact your H's commanding officer? This A may be considered fraternization depending on the working relationship. All CO's are different, but I would give it a try, he might not want that going on under his nose. My prayers are with you. Ladysing

Does the National Guard have those kind of standards too? I am lost when it comes to that stuff. He is a Staff SGT. and she is a Specialist, she was a Private First Class when it started. I just pray that the five months just keeps on going...and going...and going! Like the pink bunny! You are a blessing!
