my wifes grandma just died and wife asked me not to attend funeral. the boys may make the 1100 mile round trip with her, but daughter does not want to spend that much time around her. pray that God can soften her heart at this time. pray something big happens while she visits her family.Pray that God will move while the boys spend around her.

Gosh, you know--I'm sorry your W is making unreasonable demands such as this... I'm sure you were just as much a part of her grannie's life as she was after you got married!??? [img]images/icons/frown.gif" border="0[/img] Oh well, you are very kind to respect your W's wishes and I'm in agreement with your prayers that your W's heart would be softened and she would see what all she stands to lose unless she pulls it back together with you. May God be with you, encouraging you and speaking to your heart as well, during this difficult time.
