Hi Lupo! A line in the Garth Brooks song "Change" "As long as one heart still holds on, hope is never really gone...." I am so grateful to hear your "stand", I have been doing that for 7 years now. I know that there is hope in the Lord, and we must wait on Him as He knows the outcome. Today is my 10th anniversary, and I had my sad day yesterday, but I know I have many people praying for me. One thing other than the Lord, and MB that has encouraged me so much is a site called "rejoice ministries" Wow what an amazing "Stand" these people take! The couple who started the ministry were divorced and now remarried, what hope there is! It is so good to know that I am not alone in this stand. As I read these posts on this thread, especially from you, I feel like I have written them all myself! It is so encouraging to hear others who are actually feeling the same way as myself. Like when you said other people keep telling you to find another man.... please! I am so tired of that line. My family have a really hard time believing that anything will change, and I'm tired of trying to explain it to them. But like you said, 'you know', and if God has given you this then you must believe it and stand by it! Who should we listen to God or man? Thankyou for your sharing from your heart, may God bless you greatly, and may He give you the strength to endure all the difficult times ahead, as He has done in the past. Keep your eyes focussed on Him, and wow what a life you will have!
Love in Christ, Monika

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you this day and ask you to be with each one who is struggling with a loss of their spouse. Lord bring the prodigals home! Turn the WS's hearts of stone into hearts of flesh! Open the eyes of their hearts Lord! Give them new eyes to see with, give them a greater love for their BS than they knew was possible. First and foremost, draw them to You, as then will they see and hear the truth! Lord also give strength to the BS's as they endure the wait. May their relationship with You grow stronger each day, may they seek You in all they do! May You provide for those who are in need, may You give hope to those who feel like giving up. May you dry the tears of those weeping, may You turn them into tears of joy. And Lord for all the Jonah's out there, send the whale! God Bless each one that reads these posts, and be with them to comfort and protect them and their families! In Jesus mighty and powerful name I pray, Amen! [ June 28, 2002, 11:23 AM: Message edited by: Stillwaiting ]
