I'm new here. I'm a married woman of almost 5 years. I'm so lonely in my marriage! My husband hardly spends any time with me anymore because of my emotional outbursts and anger. I'm hurt and angry because he's destroyed my trust by not being honest about his intentions, actions and feelings. I can't count on anything he says, he's constantly changing his mind about everything. I need stability, trust and I need to know I'm loved with more than just the words, "I love you." I need him to show me he cares. I'm working on my anger problems and learning to take a deep breath and calm down or just walk away before I blow. There's so much more to what's going on, so many details.

I feel so overwhelmed. I can't eat or sleep. I'm so tired and I cry all the time, but am so damn tired of crying. My heart feels so heavy as if it will drop through my chest like lead.

Please pray for the restoration of love and trust in my marriage. Know that I'm praying for all of you too. I'm glad this forum is here for all of us.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you better when I'm feeling stronger. Right now I just feel horrible.

Thanks for listening.

Prayer works! I believe.

Hello, Allheart,

Welcome. I read your post, and I'm very sorry you're hurting as you are. I will pray for you and your H. I hope you read all the Concepts pages, and understand a little more about Harley's theories of how M's (whoops, sorry - Marriages) work.

Now I'm going to get a little tough on ya! You close off your post by saying "Prayer works!" BINGO!

If you really believe that, then that's ALL you need to fix your situation! Pray. Pray for him to be "touched" by the Hand of God with a renewed love for you. But more importantly, pray that God will go deep into your heart and begin to REMOVE those angry, selfish feelings!

Sorry, I know I shouldn't, and it's not good to "dump" on a newbie here, but it just sounded so much like a total contrast when you ask about changing your husband, and then write "Prayer Works!" Put feet to your faith, and PROVE PRAYER WORKS, Allheart!!

BTW - if you're having trouble with what or how to pray, a very good book is "Power of a Praying Wife." I have it, and it's very specific, and helps me a lot.

Keep posting and let us know how things are going. Others will be on later, and you'll pick up more support, through other prayer warriors. We're here to help!

God Bless.
