Well, folks, this truly is a roller coaster existence. I wonder when I can be LET OFF?

I was trying to tie up "loose ends" w/affairs w/EX-H (that sounds too weird to say!). I needed to talk to him about some small bills....

I called him about this, and found out he is LEAVING TOWN! Gettin' out of Dodge, if you ask ME! Seems his dad (78 y/o) was in a terrible auto accident (according to H, I have NO IDEA if it's even true!), almost died, but made a "miraculous recovery." This is supposedly a quote from the Drs.

Well, it seems that HE feels "responsible" to go take care of Dear Old Dad. Mind you, he has a sister who lives in the other state (2000 mi away) near D-O-D, a brother who lives here, near WH, but is semi-retired.....

BUT, it's MY WH who "feels responsible" to go. Yup. Going. Quit his job and is just GOING. He told me he'll be gone at least 6 months. Hmmmmmm. Could it be he VOLUNTEERED to go in order to find an "out?"

I think Knight's comment about "God aligning people" is true! I can almost see how God is orchestrating this move. He'll be AWAY from ow. He'll be on his own for the first time since this whole ordeal started....

Oh!! Here's another interesting side-bar...."Dad" claims to have had a NDE. Yup. Saw "angels" coming and going, saw his (now-deceased) wife (My WH's mother), who "told him to go back, cause it wasn't his time yet...."

Whatever. Let me just add that it's never been good to be around these people. At least not for ME. Not for WH either.....but he doesn't "get it." These people (SIL & FIL) are truly toxic individuals.

WH says to me: "It's a miracle, but since he came out of the accident, Dad's a changed man!!!!"
I say if that's true? PTL!!!! \o/ Maybe he was touched by Jesus and will PREACH IT to my WH!!!! BTW, H's folks WERE very active in a very Evangelistic church b/4 moving 2000 mi away - over 22 yrs ago, but never were really "believers." Just a lot of talk, and all the head knowledge. Interesting if it's true that he's really been saved after all these years.......

Anyway, I'm writing this in Prayer Requests, cause I am asking you all to pray for FIL's recovery, BUT also to pray God WILL be able to use this time to touch DH so he'll re-evaluate his own life, and recent life-altering decisions.

How long is this ride anyway????

Lupo,
You can always count on me! I'm sending up extra prayers for your XH and FIL and of course you. You come first, then the family.

I truly hope that FIL is coming around in his faith.

Hang on tight, dear lady, for it is a very long ride.

Hugs, prayers and love!

Lupo, Im prayin for ya. Cant tell ya when you can get off the rollercoaster ride from hell though. I dont know myself when I will be able to. I have a dear ol Mother in law that was suppose to be a changed person also. Unfortunantly , she changed in the wrong direction and is more evil than ever
Although I know God is there, I pray He starts to show us He is still there dealing with our situations. I personally feel totally forgotten. Take care and God Bless

Lupo,
I'm not around too much since w is home from inpatient (still doing out patient) but I want you to know that I too am going before the Father on your behalf. You are a good woman and a good friend, draw near to Jesus and He will draw near to you.

He, has His ways, doesn't He.

Not always our timing though.

Blessings and prayers,
knight

Knewjie,

Hey! Aren't you sweet?

Quite frankly, I really haven't heard anything, nor do I expect to hear. My H, at this point, has "cut me out of his life" and I am NO LONGER a part of his life, or his family. I described them to someone the other day, as very toxic, and it's very true, they are!

My WH continues to run away. I can see it. I can see a lot of things more clearly, now that I have stepped back and taken a sharper look. I am almost beginning to believe his whole leaving deal was more about getting TO where his family was, than it was about ow!! It's very weird.....

I keep thinking of things he said to me during the last 14 months, and it always seemed OUT of context. Now, looking back, and re-evaluating his statements, it seems like he was always talking about going to be with his family, rather than being with ow. This is probably a FIRST for anyone on the boards!! I have to have the only WH who didn't leave for OW, but for his FOO!!!! There are major FOO issues, which have prevented any of those people from living "normal" lives. I could tell stories!

It's pretty convenient that his dad's "accident" just happened to occur immediately (just a day or two) AFTER the court date of Final Judgement. I hate to think such things, buuuuut, I've had many encounters with these people through the years, and quite honestly, I wouldn't doubt ANYTHING coming from them, based on what I've seen in 22 years.

So, at this point, I am only able to lean on the Lord, trust Him totally for my future, let go of this situation (as weird as it is) and pray that He will open WH's eyes to the lies, deception and depravity that his FOO is going to lead him into.

Please pray for the Lord's protection for him. I'm truly afraid for what it's going to take for our Lord to "get his attention."

And thanks fro asking after ME!! I really AM ok, although I DID just celebrate my second birthday ALONE.

God Bless you all.

Your not the only one Lupo, My WW always left me for her Mommy and family and as soon as they got her away from me, they threw her to the wolves and then she ends up with OM. The devil is into details and so are they.....Her family has always been supportive of her being with lowlife junkie excons and destroying her life, but oh they cant have her living a good life... That would make them look bad.

Strange, isn't it? And sad.

Well, I am praying for your W, as well as my H, to finally see them for who they really are, and to CLING to Jesus for His forgiveness and cleansing.

God Bless,

Well my dear Lupo, you were not technically alone. He is always with you. We are also with you, not physically, but in spirit.

God bless you dear Lupo.
