Hi. Haven't been on the forum for a bit but just had to pop by and ask prayers from my oldtimer friends (and anyone who wants to pray for this!)

God is so good. I had an awesome visit with my C today. It was neat to tell him all the blessings going on right now and he was truly happy for me.
(He is not a Christian)

One of my greatest dreams is just about to come true. I have been asked to write a children's story that will be self-published for a rather unique market.

I am thrilled and terrified at the same time! I do not have formal training but I have the Lord and the gift of creative writing He gave me. Please pray that the story will be one that brings blessing and hope and practical help to the people who commissioned me to write.

I also need prayer that I can make time for my family as I undertake this endeavour.

H is so supportive--he is also going to write a book but is totally cool with me pursuing the dream first. I need prayer that our relationship can withstand the rigors of this project--I believe it is strong enough for that.

Things aren't the greatest right now here. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> Sat I found my w had been emailing OM, and I haven't had it in me since, I'm tryin to get it back tho. We meet with a pastor over the phone this afternoon, we really need help. But I told her where I was at w/ this M this morn and she said she would try harder.

That is great news that you may have found a career mentor, it really helps. To be honest tho, red flags did go up when you said your mentor would be a he. Just keep your eyes open, OK?

Hey Knight. About the red flags--I know--that is why I have asked him to meet H first. I have a feeling he and H may end up being strong brothers in the Lord. I have a feeling this man may say no to me but that's Ok as we are all praying for God's will. It's just that he is godly and I need guidance.

Knight, I am sorry I didn't address the issue of your pain right now with my last post. I am so sorry this nightmare continues for you. You are an overcomer. It must be hard to be patient with your W but I think you are absolutely right to tell her your honest feelings. I hope she really means it that she will try harder.

Breaking contact seems to be the biggest challenge for so many of us WS. I know for me I was able to break total contact and very blessed that OM dropped out of our lives completely (because he is a coward but that is still a blessing because we never had to see him again)--but I also know despite my repentance it was and sometimes still is really hard to get thoughts of him out of my head. For me, they are not even positive thoughts any longer (and never were since repenting). I have come to realize it's Satan trying to drag me down into the past and the Lord has a far better plan.

May your W respond to the exceedingly amazing pure love of Jesus that dwells in His own heart toward her and that flows from your heart to your W. May that be a wellspring that will never run dry.

Maybe I should change the subject line. It's still happy in my life but things may change big time in my job in September. I feel a bit nervous as we don't know H's future with this church--hoping for good things.

Received an awesome blessing today--which means that H and I get a date at a fancy restaurant tomorrow. Woohoo!

My prospective mentor is going to meet H and I for coffee next week.

Feeling very tired. I had to work extra every day this week (had Mon off after working 7 in a row) and have to be up very early for an event tomorrow. Sleep....wonderful sleep....still have to go back to the office and it's 9:30 pm our time as I write.....
