My marriage is so close to over it pains me. A lot of it is my own fault. But I still love my wife, even though she no longer loves me. I can see the hurt and pain she feels. It's a struggle for her to even be with me at times. And she's angry at God because she played by the rules and stayed faithful. All she has to show for it is 16 years of unhappiness. I hurt too. Pray that I get wisdom, and fast.

My prayers are with you both. W and I are going thru the same thing - 10 years of bliss. Nothing bad, just totally disconnected. It has been a lot better lately. Doesn't sound as desparate as you (sorry).
For me, I am taking better of myself and trusting that God will allow me to deal with whatever comes my way. I am putting my best foot forward so I don't have to look back and question my intensity and commitment during this period.
We can't change what happened in the past - only learn from it. Have you figured that part out so you don't repeat it? I am trying that too - and its hard to be objective.
I will continue to pray for your peace and wisdom.
