Please pray for my two children (6&5) and I as I try to put some distance between my exhusband and I. We have been apart for a year and divorced for 3 months of that year. It was his choice to walk away and somedays he seems to regret his choice. He can't commit to trying again even though I have tried to assure him I could forgive him for the affair. I know it is in the best interest for the kids and I that I move on. How do I put aside the feelings I have for him? How do I keep him from pulling me into his emotional rollercoaster? Please pray the I will find the peace I need to move on. Thank You!

Dear dana31:

I'm so sorry for the way things have turned out.

I wish I could answer your questions, but I don't have all the answers. I wanted to respond, becuase I am in a similar time-line (minus the kids), but had a long-term marriage.

Probably NO ONE can help you with what you should do next, or do with your feelings. God alone knows what His plan is for your life, your children, and your ex-H.

Continue to seek Him, and then LISTEN, really LISTEN to what He commands you to do. Our Wonderful God can and will guide you.

God Bless,
