Hi my friends, please pray for me, I am feeling overwhelmed lately, I have been super busy, and although I love it when I am, there has been opportunity for satan to get in there. I have been really frustrated with myself lately. Feeling kinda down, not getting things done that I need to, and many other things. I ask you to pray that the Lord will help me through this time, to remove this 'down' feeling, to fill my heart with joy, I just find myself in kind of a rut right now.
Of course Christmas is never an easy time for anyone who is on their own, but I've been through many of them without this burden I am feeling.
I want to send my husband a Christmas card, but have no idea what to write in it. We haven't been together for 7 years now, and I've only seen him twice in that time, and as much as the Lord has given me the promise of restoration, the devil tries to put doubts into my head. So I am sure that this is a part of my anxiety these days.
I am usually fine when I am with people, but then I have to go home and be alone. The funny thing is that I usually like my time alone, but right now it sucks! I am feeling overwhelmed with all the things I have to do for myself, and wish that I had my H to share things with. Even just to sit down and cuddle again, wow that would be nice!
Sorry for rambling, it's just the mood I'm in...
Please pray however the Lord leads you to do so...
Thanks and God Bless, Monika

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Stillwaiting}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Here's lots of cyber-hugs. I know it's not the same thing, but please know it's sent with all the love of Christ I have!

I understand the wanting to cuddle with spouse thingy. I feel it too, especially this time of year. I think maybe the whole Christmas is for loving and families thing is part of the reason that so many people are so much more depressed during the holiday season. We were made to commune with Him and enjoy Him, and this time of year brings that our so much more clearly, so we want to share those feelings with those we love....

I admire your stand and your strength. Remember that you are an inspiration to many of us! I will pray for you to remain strong and vigilant, knowing that satan is HOPING to make you stumble, just to have the last laugh. Funny thing is, WE have the last laugh on HIM!!!

Hang in there, hun. GOD IS STILL IN HIS HEAVEN, AND HE'S STILL IN CONTROL of all things on Earth and in Heaven. Aren't we glad for that? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Still,

Dear Lord,
I pray for this child of yours that you fill her heart with deep joy, during this time. Bring other people into her life that can be with her
during this time when we celebate your visitation
to us. I pray that she gets an invitation to spend christmas with someone who cares for her.
Lift her spirit and give her hope. Bless her life, and reward her faithfulness to you. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Still...I tried to let the spirit lead me in that prayer, I wish you all the best God has for you during the holiday season. ((((((((Still)))))))) LW

Hugs to you {{{{{{{{{{{{Stillwaiting}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}.

Thinking about you over on the cajunky's Restoration thread.

Hope you feel our love for you Monika. More importantly, I pray God fills you with His Joy and Peace right now. That you will feel His arms cuddle you and keep you warm today. That he would lighten you burden and give you rest this Christmas.

Love in Christ.

Wow you guys (& gals) are awesome! I am feeling alot better today, it's amazing what prayer will do. I did some Christmas shopping, and have a practice tonight with my students for our concert.
I bought some stuff to decorate, so maybe tomorrow I will begin that project!

I am very grateful to you all, and yes I feel the love you send! It makes me want to cry! I pray for each one of you as well, Lupo, Cajunky, S&C, and LW, you are all very special, and God has such awesome stuff in store for each one of you faithful Warriors!

You know yesterday I was praying for the Lord to fill me with His joy, and to speak to me through His Word, when I went to put my bible away, it opened up to Philipians, (my study Bible by Chuck Swindol)The heading of the commentary was "abundance of joy" Wow is God good? Oh ya!!!
He is worthy to be praised! After I posted this thread and went off line, I got a call from my friend and former Pastor, she invited me out to dinner, and it was so good to see her. After that I went to a practice, and after that, I found out that a fellow stander just found out that his W has a BF and was upset, he is my students dad, so I went over there to encourage him and his kids.
Kinda neat how my day actually turned out!

I am grateful for each one of you, and look forward to many more times of cyber-fellowship!
God Bless you and keep you!

Love in Christ, Monika
