I start with a smiley face because I have faith that God, our creator, has a plan. i met my husband when i was 16, we moved in together when I was 18 and in college. I became pregnant and we had a beautiful healthy little girl. We married when she was 15 months old. I finished college, we had a son, we bought a house, All this time i felt "cheated' because husband had had prior sexual experience, and i went to him as a virgin. Skip ahead, we are now 27 years old. I cheated on him this past November with a 20 year old that i had grown too close too, as a result of our marriage deteriorating, how i wish i had found this website before then! On Jan 5th, 2003, I pulled out in front of a car and our little girl, 7 years old, was killed instantly. Me and my son were uninjured. i was two feet from my baby and couldn't save her He moved out two weeks ago. he called me today 2/4/03 and says he wants me to file for divorce. i love him. i know it sounds contradictory but I love him and having cheated, i know now more than ever that i love him and want to save the marriage. losing my daughter and my husband in one month. it is very hard, Right now I am living alone with my son, but doing the right thing. I am not talking with any other men, I am not having contact with ex-lover ( sex happened twice, will NOT EVER happen again) i will pray and have faith in God that he will see me and our son through this.

Heavenly Father, please take this child into your bosom. She has strayed from the path, Lord, but she has confessed, and seeks atonement for her sins. Please continue to guides, provide strength, patience and righteousness to her, Lord. Please reach out to Cathy's husband, Lord, that his heart may be healed and softened so that his family might be restored. Satan has gained a strong grip upon this family, and he seeks to tear it apart even further. Let them accept this situation as an opportunity for growth, that they might appreciate the gifts you have provided even more. Heal them with your love, and continue to guide them with the light of your truth, to stay on the path of righteousness, that they might experience your supernatural and eternal joy. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Cathy, please consider submitting your name to Cajunky's thread, and he will add your name to his list of prayer warriors for praying and fasting on Wednesday evenings.
God Bless You. You are in my prayers, too.

Cathy, I am an old member who has not posted in close to two years, but when I read your post, I could not help but reply back. I cannot imagine your heartbreak. I just wanted you to know that you are in my prayers, and whatever God has in store for you must be miraculous for you to endure such pain now. Please believe that God loves you and would never hurt you. I know you are in tremendous pain now, but there will be happiness again. Hold on, and keep your eyes on the Lord. HE WILL SUSTAIN you, even in this dark hour. You are his child and no matter what, he will always love you. Know that you are being prayed for... In Christ....

Cathy,
I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> I cannot imagine the depths of your sorrrow and your grief right now. And now your husband. I have written your name on my prayer list and will pray for you.
I also want to tell you not to proceed in any way in getting a divorce. If your husband truly wants one, let him pursue it, but if it is not what you want, don't do anything to pursue it.
Both you and your husband are hurting right now, and I'm sure life looks awfully bleak for both of you. But God is a God of the impossible. In Him, there is hope!
God bless you and be near you. He is close to the brokenhearted. May He be so close to you now and may you be comforted and find rest from your sorrow.
