I ask for prayer request, for some i failed to do in my 2 plus year marriage, never letting God in. As of right now my wife and i are separated, and she is meeting with a lawyer today. I made a big mistake in running up some credit cards and not letting her know the truth about it. Also i never was there for her emotionally, like i should have been. We are talking, we are both in love with each other, but i think after today with the lawyer she may go through with a divorce. I just ask for God's will in this.

johng1,

Sorry to hear about your pain.

Have you told your wife the things you mentioned in this post. Perhaps your honesty with her now would soften her heart to give you time to work on the marriage.

Father,

We praise your name for who you are.
We thank you for what you have done for us in the past and know you will be faithful to meet our needs today. We know that marriage is a covenant with you and that Satan would like for that to be broken. I pray you would stop any plans he has for bringing this marriage to an end. Soften johng1's wife's heart so that they can work these things out together knowing you will be with them all of the way. Give her a willingness to work on the marriage to make it better than it ever was.In Jesus' name,

Amen

In my prayers,
landslide
