My husband has just told me he wants a divorce. Please, please pray for the restoration of our marriage. And please pray for my husband and me individually.

He is a Viet Nam Vet with PTSD who is going through a very tough time now, which is one reason why I believe he has decided that he wants to end the marriage. I love him dearly and believe that if God will soften his heart we can weather this storm and have a marriage more loving than we could have ever imagined.

Hopeful,
This has to be very painful. I too suffer from PTSD (stemming from severe child abuse).
It certainly interfers with healing a marriage as we have such good techniques for withdrawing from people. Being a woman, I use numbness. Healthy relationships are nearly impossible without some kind of help. I'm sure that you have both studied about this disorder and gotton help. At first the cure seems worse than the disorder, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
My prayers are with you.

Dear friend ,

Hang in there!! God does indeed still work Miracles in the hearts and minds of people and if he wills it this will be done! I will pray for you and your husband that a healing peace might come over your bond and God Bless you for your Steadfastness and commitment to your husband.
