I'm would like to ask anyone who cares to help to pray for my marriage and to help give me the strength to continue Giving more than Taking while I try to forgive my wife for cheating on me since I've been at war. I'm trying very hard to be patient and I hope I can find what it takes to put down my tendencies to push my point when negotiating.
I love my wife more than anything and am holding out to the last (which doesn't look very far away at this point).
She is about to get word that her lover is getting transferred and possibly punished by the Army (her lover is a soldier as well) and I pray to God that her anger at this doesn't decide the ending of our marriage.

I will be praying for you. I suggest that you seek guidance from the unit Chaplain. They can help you out a great deal while all this is going on. Keep your head about you when talking to your command, you don't want this to ruin your career. I'll be praying for you.

Thanks for the advice, I'm planning on seeing the chaplain already since there are no mc's handy.
My CofC has started the ball rolling on handling the OM already so there is no stopping that.
Other than that I will be attempting to set up a negotiation session with my W within a day or so before it all goes down. I may even switch to plan B before it happens.

I will pray for you - I am so sorry you are going through this - I read your other post.

The "how to save your marriage alone" book in my signature might help you (it is Christ centered)and I don't remember if I recomended it to you before but it really saved my sanity.

Also, the other book in my signature (the ebook) has sections in it on the spiritual aspects of repentance on the part of the offender. Maybe you can email a link to your wife - and maybe she'll read it. It really stresses the need for the cheating spouse to take responsibility for their own behavior, choices, and happiness.

Please try to take care of yourself - things will get better. But also let me tell you this: When I gave up on myself - and started only trying to do what I felt was God's will for me - I immediately became centered. So many things just didn't matter anymore - He healed my heart. He can do the same for you. And He can give you the streangth to fight for your marriage.
