Last night, the man I have shared my life with for 22 years, told me he has absolutely no hope for our marriage. He avoided saying the D word, but that's what he wants. He says he sees no other way.

I do not want this, but will not fight him on it. The last few months have been very hard on me, and I am trying to find my way back to God. I attended church for the first time in 30 years (except for weddings, funerals) last Sunday, and am praying everyday. I never expected to be in this situation, and my pain, confusion and fear are at impossible levels.

It is my hope that there are good Christians on this thread, and I ask you to pray for me. Not to heal my marriage, as I don't think that's a possibility. But for God to guide me in finding a church for comfort, and to help me be close to God and feel His mercy and wisdom so I can get through what is going to be the hardest time of my life. Please pray for God to watch over me, and my husband.

I will be praying. But I also know that if the marriage isn't reconciled, there is always life after divorce. Don't give up. God will take care of you. Keep trusting Him!!! He is a merciful God!!! Thank you for your kind words and for your prayers. I know this will be hard, but I know that with God's help, I will be fine. When God is with you, what can you possibly fear?

I met with a pastor and a prayer warrier last night, for several hours. I feel so blessed by their kindness and support, and I left feeling strong and at peace. God truly showed me his mercy and love through them.
