Please pray for my husband (and I). We have been married for 16 years, of course, not all of those years are wonderful, but close! For 13 of those years, we have been strong together Spiritually. We have served together as sunday school teachers, helping homeless people, youth directors, singing in a christian band, choir, raising our children to believe in God and the bible . . . I watched my husband study and "crave" the bible, on his knees in tears praying to God and I have seen him give all to help others - all in the name of the Lord. Well . . . 2 1/2 years ago we made a radical move out of the U.S. I had no idea that the move would include my husband "moving" spiritually. We moved and within 2 months of our move (after many arguements) it was told to me that he no longer believes in God and thinks the bible is just a book with good stories. I freaked at first, but God has since calmed me. I ask that you pray for my husband to be renewed in God and come home. We have always had a up and down marriage, but since we have been here and this change has happen in him, we have really been struggling in our marriage. He is at a point of "staying together ONLY for the kids", I am at a point of if he wants out, I will hate it, but if that is what he wants, I will let him go. I won't live out my kids and neither will he. He knows that if anything happen, our seperation would not be anything but a battle . . . so he won't do it.
He doesn't like me much any more and if anything goes bad, he is quick to say how aweful it all is and "we won't make it", he is through . . .e says he loves me . . . I try to trust it.
Please pray for us. He feels that we should be able to have a good marriage even if we are not "together" spiritually. I know couples do and I guess we can, but it is more difficult. So pray for his "salvation" and for our marriage.

pahein,

Sorry I haven't responded sooner, but I don't normally get on the forum on the weekends. Please know that even though you didn't get a response quickly that there are people that have been praying for you and your H.

Please do a good look through this site. It holds valuable information and tools that can help you put your M back on track. Even though your H may not "seem" to want to.

Post when you can and keep us updated. OK?

May God's peace envelope you and keep you in HIs care. Bless you.

S&C
