I would like to ask all of you to pray for my daughter. She is 23 years old, divorced, and mother to a 15 month old son. She is making so many mistakes in her life and resents me. Dosen't want to hear anything that I have to say.
We argue mostly over my grandson. If he cries (gets hurt or something) and I pick him, well I shouldn't have done that because she is his mother not me! Even if the little fellow has his arms up for me to take him. Things that I might suggest to do for him that she want let me, she turns around and lets his grandfather do them.
She is planning on moving to Roanoke, Virginia at the end of December. It will be a 6 hour plus drive from my home to Roanoke. The baby's daddy lives in the county that I live in. He is upset that she is moving, also. And so is his mother. The other grandmother mentioned to my daughter that they would go to court to get visitation and to establish paternity. They were divorced when my grandson was born. So in my state the father has to prove paternity even though he is on the birth certificate. Who knows where this will go anyway. My daughter thinks that they can meet every other weekend half way so that the baby will still have visitation with his father. This is not realistic.
After so long of not feeling any love in this family this baby from his very birth became my whole life and love. My husband used my children to inflict conflict and mental turmol during their teenage years. To this day he sides with them regardless as to what the situation is.
This daughter replaced me after my husband's affair. His conversations were with her, he wanted her opinion about things. I was just the maid living in the house with them.
For 8 years we seldom rode together anywhere. He would drive his car and if I wanted to go I had to drive mine. This includes church.
I love my daughter. But she refuses to let me get close to her. We just argue. I don't know what to do.
There was someone that posted a few nights ago that I could relate to real well. After I closed out my program I couldn't find him again. He said that he was on a roller coaster ride. Up and down. He even mention his daughter. It sounded like he had been reading my mail.

Heavenly Father, I lift this whole family up to You and ask that You would do a new work in them. Lord, let the love and respect be restored in this family. Father, the husband has not treated his wife properly and now the daughter has learned to do the same. Lord, we command that this generational curse be broken now. Father, we bind every work of the devil that he has meant for harm and we lose the powers of heaven to begin a restoration back to the way You want this family to function. Lord, give Terrianna a new hope and a new faith and trust in You. Lord, answer her prayers in regard to this grandson and bring mother and daughter back together with a Godly love for each other. In Jesus name. Amen
