My Fellow Prayer Warriors,

It seems God has called me to take responsibility for the Weekly Restoration Forum. And based on my chipping in this past Wednesday, and the kind responses you sent me, I am answering his call. I want to thank Steadfast & Committed for all his service with this for the past x weeks/years (I don't know the time as I have only been at this site since June of this year). I also, want to wish All God's Blessings as he and his wife work on their new life togehter.

First, I must say I am very nervous about taking this on as I only recently, Sep 3, 2003, confessed my sons to Jesus and accepted Him as my Lord and Saviour. I was raised Roman Catholic, but except for going to church ,over the last twenty years I have not been true to my faith. I don't feel I have the experience, both religious and marital, to guide you. However, with the Holy Spirit, as well as your input, support and requested criticisms, I am confident we will continue this Weekly Restoration Forum, as well as grow it.

Since my marriage is currently on the road to divorce, you can read my stories on the links in my signature, my top EN has not been satisfied, ADMIRATION. I have a lot of ideas and some changes I want to make to this forum, and I need your help. Not only with ideas, but to keep my ego in check; to keep me humble and in service to all the Prayer Warriors and not just my own self-gradisement. I ask that you give me some time with the growing pains on this which, God, through S&C, has placed before me.

Over the last two months, I have seriously thought about finding a new job/career where I can take skills and benefit people, children especially, not someone else's pocket book. I have yet to find that job, but I feel that God is putting this before me so I can use my skills for a more worthy purpose and prepare me for "God knows what".

In no particular order, I would like to....

• <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">invite all Prayer Warriors to send the URL for the Weekly Restoration Forum to those they know who have good marriages or relationships; to your church; co-workers; family, etc. Our weekly prayer is not just for those of us who have been or are going through rough spots (divorce, infidelity, etc.) in our marriages; but for everyone we know. Therefore, why not have those we know pray for our lives as we should thier's. My goal is to double our list in six months. This would also increase the membership of the MB website itself.</font></li>

• <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">request your help with finding the messages to add to this Weekly Restoration Forum. As I mentioned above, I am unexperienced and need your help. These can be inspirational, motivational. They can be about parenting, being a good husband/father, wife/mother. They can be prayers you know of, or messages/sermons you heard from your pastor or another source. Anything that you feel would be to the benefit of the Prayer Warriors. In my signature is my email address. I ask that any ideas/messages be sent to that by Sunday evening for consideration. Please put "Prayer Warrior Ideas" in the subject line. Also, please include all credits for the work provided as these will be added to the Weekly Restoration Forum.</font></li>

• <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">set up a new topic which will be for new visitors who want to be added to the Prayer Warrior list. I will check this topic daily and add the names each week.</font></li>

• <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">suggest that if you hear a messge on the radio or TV, that you write to the author/speaker and request a transcript of their message. If they ask for a fee, let them know about the Weekly Restoration Forum and that their message will read by many who dearly need to hear it. Let hem know that along with the message will be thier URL, and that they will receive proper credit. Also, let them know that through thier supporting our Weekly Restoration Forum, they could reap the benefits of new followers to thier ministry as well. [Sorry if this is not coming out as eloquently as it should].</font></li>

My Fellow Prayer Warriros,
Another feature I would like to add is to allow members and vistors to access your recent postings from the Weekly Restoration Forum posting. There is a link on each posting page that takes you to a members profile. From here you can click a link that will take you to a listing of that member's most recent postings.
By using this, we can better keep Warriors aware of what is going with us, as well as give members an opportunity to read other member's stories so they can better support and pray for them.

I will only add this feature on a request basis; i.e., I will not add this to your name unless you request it by emailing me or replying to this post.

Dear ttsmm,
What God is looking for is our availibility, and not necessarily our ablility. I would say that God has put this on your heart and I will support you, even when things aren't perfect. It just reflects that you are human. I urge you to go ahead with your ideas and I will email you any good articles I see that would be inspirational.
