Okay, I am new to posting here in PR - but I could use some guidance and prayers.

In a nutshell this is the story... I'll try to keep it short

I am the FWW, recovery has been since March. Recovery going vrey slowly and bumpy. Some days we think it will work and not so positive others. (I guess that's normal?) Anyway - H is very particular about finances and I am more or less aloof about them. I live paycheck to paycheck and do the best that I can.

I have a lot of debt (that I am trying to pay off) but yesterday I found a memo that hasn't been distributed at my office yet, but it basically says that hours are going to be cut if the Doctor has more than a certian percentage of their day open. So great, right? Not that I am struggling enough trying to make the ends meet, but now there is a potential for my hours to be cut

So, my prayer request is this - For our recovery to go better than it is today, For me to get a better grip on my finances, and to get another job where I can make enough money to be financially secure. I don't know if God can help with that, but I am sure that if I have help praying He WILL be faithful and show me the way

Thanks,
IR2T

IR2T,

May our Loving God grant you the guidance you need to manage your recovery and your financial situation. May He open doors to both of your hearts, as well as the door to new opportunities to enrich your lives and praise Him for the gifts He bestows upon you.
We ask this in Jesus Chrit's names. Amen.

God's Blessings be with you and your husband,
Trying

IR2T,

First of all, Congratulations on coming here and working on bettering yourself, your M, and your life! That took guts.

What keeps me going a lot of times when things seem totally OUT of control is one little line from a song I used to know waaaay back when, about 30 years ago.........

It's this: He didn't bring us this far, to leave us....didn't teach us to swim, to let us drown."

Please remember that. If God invited you to join Him, to live for Him, to believe in His eternal Love for you, then He surely will sustain you, lift you up when You're down, and fix whatever was wrong in your M before, and give you a M beyond your imagination or dreams! That's great news, isn't it?

God LOVES You!! He does want to be your God and LORD, and that means HE WANTS TO PROVIDE FOR ALL YOUR NEEDS.

He also invites us to "test Him" This is the only time in the Bible that God says we are "allowed" to TEST HIM........He wants us to lean on Him, believe He can provide for EVERY NEED, and test Him to prove it's true!!

So, this is my round-about way of saying to you that you can ASK God to provide for your needs, money-wise, and HE WILL!!! Of course, He also expects you to do some things, too......like Tithe. You can test Him by tithing even tho money is tight, and watch Him provide miraculously!

It sounds like you and your H have some different views on how to handle money, and other issues. I hope you are using the Four Rules of Protection to make your M and recovery strong and *satan proof*

Please CLING to each other, POJA the issues you disagree on, PRAY for God's wisdom, and continue to SEEK HIM for guidance. Most of all, show love to each other, and don't let satan defeat you by making you worry or doubt that GOD WANTS TO BLESS YOU!

Prayers to you,
