I know fasting is on Wednesdays. From when to when? I haven't eaten anything yet, just drinking water. Does fasting start with last meal the day before till Thursday morning?

Standing, It is planned that you go for 24 hours, but be sure your body is capable of doing it. For some that long would pose a health threat. But actually a 24 hour fast is very beneficial spiritually, and physically. A three day fast is even better.

Thank you, singleguy. If I would go 3 days without anything to eat, I would probably faint. I do not have any health problems that I absolutely cannot go without eating, I mean, I havd acid reflux, but I don't think this will affect anything. When I have nothing to eat, I start to feel very weak and I know that's the point here. To feel so weak physically, that you get even closer to God spritually. I have always done 24 hrs. I think if I try a 3-day fast, it should be on a weekend that I don't have to do a whole lot. During the week with working and everything, I feel myself getting really weak when I don't eat anything and I don't function as well taking care of my kids and such.
24 hrs - so that means I can have dinner tonight when I get home? That would have been my last meal. I just want to be clear on this & not "screw up". I want to show God that I'm very serious about fasting. I also heard that you can fast by not eating something that you truly love to, I guess kind of like giving up something for Lent.
I just want to be sure I'm doing the correct thing here. Also, my other support group at Restore Ministries fasts Tuesdays and Thursdays. I could probably do this, but that means I won't be in line with all of you. I'm not exactly sure what to do. I have been fasting today though.

Standing,
I doubt that you would faint, unless you are already very nutrient deprived, and many people are. But you can go without food much longer than you think. You can also juice for the nutritional necessities if you go for three days. You can get a good juicer on the mome shopping network marketed by Jack Lalane. It is often on special for $100. Go to freedomyou.com to learn the facts about fasting.
