When I got off this board earlier I was going to try and make the best of my day alone. I thought I would try to call my old neighbor one more time. Her H was in the hospital and I wanted to check on him. Sandy has been a great support to me and the girls and her H has been like a 2nd grandfather to the girls. He was very mad at my H and had tried to call him on several occasions, but no answer. Well just found out he died yesterday. I am totally devestated. The girls are with their dad and the funeral is tomorrow. They are going to just turn into wrecks when they find out. Of course I would love to bring them over to see Sandy because her and her H loved those children just like they were their own grandchildren. Not to down God or anything, but why does this happen. The nasty cruel people that wreck havick on our lives are alive and doing just "fine", and the good ones are snatched up way too soon. The last thing he told the girls and me was that he was going to really have a talk with my H and tell him what a mistake he is making. There is nothing he wanted more than to see "our" family back together. Right now I feel that life is just plain rotten. Thanks for letting me vent.
