First of all, I want to ask that you keep my MIL in your prayers. They are doing the procedure again on her today, but this time she will be completely under anesthesia. Please pray that they will find whatever is wrong and get rid of it. Thanks.

I don't really like to share too much detail of my personal life but I really need prayers right now. I spent about 5 hours with my MIL yesterday at the hospital, and about 45 mins of that time was spent with my H and the OW at her bedside with me. God gave me lots of strength and I remained calm. I admit my heart ached like crazy seeing them walk in holding hands, constantly touch each other and the OW sitting on his lap. BUT, God kept reminding me that NOTHING is impossible for Him. This man that I was seeing, that looked so much in love with this OW, could be changed and brought back to me if that is what God wants. I am still standing for my M and the enemy will keep attacking me this way, but I need LOTS of strength. PLEASE keep me in your prayers.

I will keep updating on my MIL. Thank you all for caring and praying for each other so much on this forum. God has truly blessed us all by bringing us here.

hopeful,
I am praying for you right now.

Father, we know that ALL things are possible through You. Show hopeful Your plan for her and her marriage. Continue to give her strength when she encounters her H and the OW. Make her aware of the lessons You are teaching her through these encounters, so she will continue to have hope. Lift her up and hold her in Your hands when she feels confused and afraid by what is transpiring before her. Remind her that Your Perfect Will will be done...Always. I ask this through Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for the beautiful prayer IIHHN!

UPDATE on MIL: She is doing GREAT! Thank you all for your prayers. They did the procedure on her this morning and removed the obstruction that was not allowing the gallbladder to drain properly. She did not feel a thing. I talked to her a little while ago and she is feeling so good that she wants to go home already. Which she will tomorrow at noon. As I spoke to her, I heard voices in the background so I asked who was with her. Sure enough, it was my H and the OW (again). She didn't seem to want me off the phone 'cause she kept starting all sorts of conversations that had nothing to do with her being there. She doesn't like the OW visiting her but I guess doesn't want to cause problems with my H. So, we just talked for a bit and she really does sound great. She said she finally got a good meal and is ready to go home.

Thank you God for being my MIL's doctor and bringing her back to a healthy state. Thank you all for your prayers!!! God Bless!

Thank you Standing and IIHHN!

MIL is doing so well now. Thank you Father!!

Last week was really bad for me. The enemy attacked so hard with that incident at the hospital. I concentrated too much on what the enemy had done that I started doubting God again (forgive me Father). I still can't completely take the images out of my head but I KNOW that God still wants me to keep standing and I will be obedient. I've doubted before and each time I ask God to give me a sign of what He wants out of me and my marriage. I had 5 confirmations about it at Church this weekend. I always expect something major to happen to give me an answer, and in the process don't pay attention to the small signs. My confirmations came from our Pastor (who preached about prodigals), a lady from church (who gave me encouragement about standing), a christian singer who gave a concert in the evening (who shared his testimony), a friend (who dreamt about H and I together) and a 4 yr old (who still remembers my H and called him on her plastic cell phone to tell him she loved him and told me that H said HE loved ME). Thank You Father. And thank you ALL for your prayers! God never abandons us!! EVER!!!!!

Hello All!

I am here requesting prayers again. I just saw my H and the OW together again. Last time I didn't do too well a few days later. Please pray that God will keep me strong and not let the enemy creep in to bring me down. I KNOW I can do this. Thanks for your prayers.

God Bless!!!

H98,

You are being tested and it sounds like you are doing great! You were able to stay in the same room with H and OW without showing bitterness or contempt. This shows great strength. God is working in you. I don't know if I could have done what you did.

To me the holding hands and setting in his lap and touching each other, says they feel there is a need to do this. If all is well in paradise, then why the need for the show of affection? Your husband is witnessing your strength and your quite spirit during all this. God is working in his heart. He is moving your mountain.

It wasn't that long ago that it "looked" like my husband would never come home. But yet, he is here and has been home since Nov. All things are possible. Keep believing and you are strong because God is your strength.

I will keep you in my prayers,

gentle

Thank you so much Gentle for your prayers.

You are so right that I am being tested. It's hard but God IS giving me so much strength. It wasn't easy the first time, but what I truly believe helped me was that I was fasting that day(it was a wednesday prayer day). And I know many were praying for me that day. Thank You!

It's so great to hear from someone who has been restored. Your words and encouragement have helped alot. The enemy wants to discourage me by putting my H and OW in front of me and saying "You see, he's NEVER going to come back. They are a happy couple and will always be one" but I know that is a LIE. God is SO powerful. And like you said, ALL things are possible. Thank You Gentle! (and everyone else reading).

God Bless!
