My H is leaving me and my s. He says he is doing it for himself, to find out what he wants, and it has nothing to do with the OW he has been having an EA with for a year. I want so badly to believe him and trust him, but he has betrayed my trust over and over again.

Please pray that God softens his heart and brings him back to his family. He says he loves me, but he is in so much pain from my A 5 years ago and the aftermath of it. We never truly recovered from it, neither of us knowing the right way to handle our recovery. Now after 5 years and so much bottled up hurt and irreconcilable differences, he is giving up.

Now that I finally know what I should have done all those years ago, I don't have a chance to show him we can be happy. I wish it hadn't taken him having an EA for me to realize his pain. Now I fear it is too late. Everyone here insists he is leaving to be with OW. I'm clinging to the hope that that is not true, but it is hard.

Thank you for your prayers...

won'tgiveup,

I pray that the Lord uses this time to work in your husband's heart, to heal it and turn it towards Him and towards you. Hang in there and be blessed. Draw near to the Lord and allow Him to guide you.

Thank you LME, I will check out those sites. I believe God is working on my H. I do see a softening of his heart and he really wants to begin making God a more important part of his (and our) life.

Thank you for your prayers.

Yes, I would like to be added to your list. What do I have to do?

My H told me today that he went looking at apts., so I guess he really is going to go through with it. I can't believe he's really going to go through with it. I wish he could see that he doesn't have to leave to heal. He says he has to get away from all our arguments. I told him we only argue when it concerns him leaving or OW. So, if he wasn't going to leave and if it isn't about OW, then we really wouldn't be arguing.

Please pray that he will see this before he makes this terrible decision that will have such horrible reprecussions on my family, especially my 10 year old son.

My H is still here. He was supposed to be out by the end of the month. He still doesn't think he can ever recover emotionally from our troubled M. I can't convince him that he can if he tries. Please continue to pray that he opens his heart and mind and gives our M and our family a chance.

Thank you
