Well, six weeks or so ago, I posted that I had to put my dear, sweet "puppy" down. She was just 10 years young, but developed a heart or kidney condition which just sapped her, and finally she succumbed.

Now, Wednesday, I came home to find a hanging thingy on the doorknob from Animal Control. It only said they had my cat, and I could come claim him for the next 4 days.

I went after work yesterday to "claim my cat" - thinking I'd pay a fine for him being running loose and take him home. I got there and said, "I'm here for my cat........"

The lady said, "Did you want to take him home to bury him?"

WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!

This was not what I was expecting. <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" />
It seems some neighborhood dogs attacked and killed my kitty. He was only 7 years old, and my constant companion when I was at home.

(((Lupo))): God, You know the heartbreak Lupo has experienced the past couple years....please come in Your gentleness and restore to her the years the locusts have eaten...remind her of how she is Your precious treasure and how deeply and profoundly You love her. Bring her joy once again, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
